Our story

A small family, quietly obsessed with jewellery that lasts.

Yanshora began at a kitchen table in Bangalore — a mother sketching hoops on the back of a grocery list, a daughter photographing them under the afternoon sun, a father quietly negotiating with the neighbourhood plating workshop. What started as a personal search for jewellery that didn't turn dull after a monsoon slowly became a small house of curated, anti-tarnish pieces.

Family portrait

A photograph of the Yanshora family — the three hands behind every drop — will live here. Upload it and it will replace this placeholder.

Chapter one

A drawer full of tarnished favourites.

We were the household that owned too much jewellery and wore very little of it. Every festival ended the same way — beautiful pieces returned to velvet drawers, slowly dimming under humidity and time. We wanted jewellery we could actually live in. Something that survived rain, the gym, sleep, and the school run without losing its shine.

So we started making it — small batches, obsessive plating tests, a lot of coffee. Yanshora is the result of those years of trial: curated, anti-tarnish, high-fashion jewellery designed for everyday life.

Chapter two

Small editions, made to be worn.

Every drop is limited — usually twelve pieces per design. It keeps the studio honest and makes sure the plating, weight, and finish of each piece is checked by hand before it leaves us.

We don't chase seasons. We chase pieces you'll still be wearing three years from now, without a second thought.

Chapter three

Still a family, still in Bangalore.

The studio is a two-room affair in Varthur. Orders are packed by the same people who designed the pieces. Notes are handwritten. When something goes wrong, you speak to one of us — not a queue.

If you're wearing a Yanshora piece, you're wearing something the three of us have touched, tested, and quietly cheered on out the door.

Come find a piece that feels like yours.
